Congratulations to Martin Scaife of North York Moors AC who came in first in 32.14, a new course record. Also to Carolyn Summersgill of Middlesbrough & Cleveland AC who was first female home in 38.35.Results for 2008 5k Fun Run here. Congratulations to Greg Ritchie of Jarrow & Hebburn AC who came in first in 18:32. Well done to Jack's club, Jarrow & Hebburn who had the first 3 runners home. Well done also to Teesdale AC, who had 8 junior runners in the top 30 (though obviously we had home advantage!)

Teesdale AC meet at Teesdale Leisure Centre, Strathmore Road, Barnard Castle for training nights - 6-7pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Junior group (aged 8-11) also meet at the Leisure Centre at 5:00-6:00pm on Tuesdays.
Teesdale Athletic Club is based in Barnard Castle, County Durham. We welcome all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to experienced marathon runners. The main emphasis of the club is road and cross-country running, but our junior section is also involved with Track and Field events.
If you are interested in joining, just turn up at one of the training sessions - with your kit!
You don't have to join straight away, come along to a few sessions to see if it's for you.
