2008 Raby Castle 10k and 5k Fun Run

Please note that the entrance to Raby Castle grounds is via the South Gate, near the church in Staindrop - there is a 15 minute walk from the car park to the start area.  A baggage area will be provided at the start.

Fun Run 10:30am Mementoes to all finishers.
10k Run 11:15am Mementoes to all finishers of 10k run.

Prizes for all leading finishers in 10k - Male, Female and Veterans.

£100 prize for first Male and first Female to break the course records - currently 33.08 for men (Jon Orange) and 37.11 for women (Aiveen Fox).

Teesdale AC meet at Teesdale Leisure Centre, Strathmore Road, Barnard Castle for training nights - 6-7pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Junior group (aged 8-11) also meet at the Leisure Centre at 5:00-6:00pm on Tuesdays.

Teesdale Athletic Club is based in Barnard Castle, County Durham. We welcome all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to experienced marathon runners. The main emphasis of the club is road and cross-country running, but our junior section is also involved with Track and Field events.

If you are interested in joining, just turn up at one of the training sessions - with your kit! You don't have to join straight away, come along to a few sessions to see if it's for you.
